Jukebox <click to go to the song list and bypass the trivia

Note: This is only computer music, not "live" music. Since humans and computers make mistkes, there are some imperfections in some of the songs.  On occasion, you might hear a slight delay or skip...your computer is squeezing in other tasks between notes.  But most sound OK for computer music, depending on your tastes. If the MID file sounds too messed up, you may have a gremlin* :-( or more in your computer.  (*a program that is running that you didn't initiate...a manufacturer program or something else...they are murder to catch red-handed...try control/alt/delete if you know what you're doing and "end task" on the little devils and spies :-)  Remember, never put anything in your computer that you don't want on the front page of the New Your Times and then get on the Internet.  Big Brother or some other nosy hacker might be in your computer watching and you will never know it.

If your Browser will do it, you can listen to music while you surf the Web.  If a frame comes up to the left, click the X if you don't want it there.

If it works as intended on your computer (I tested it on my computers only), you should be able to go back and surf the Web and the music will continue.  Any sounds pending will wait until your selection (below) is done.

The way this works depends on the software that you are using. (I test using the latest MS Internet Explorer MS IE 6.0.22800.1106.)

If the song on the Start Page takes over when you go to the Start Page, try going to the Quick Links Page instead of back to the Start Page.

To turn it OFF, go to your Media Player, probably in your system tray (at the bottom of your screen) or just wait a few minutes until it stops on its own, select another song on this page, or turn it down (the speaker in your system tray). Or come back here and click this short one or this short one and it will stop when done with this short one.  Again, it all depends on the software that you are using.

gdbdtime  OPEN FILES if asked by your browser, do not "save to disk" unless you want to save the MIDI file (see below). greenonions - kokomo - heaven - hotel cal - jamaican - jazz_organ - since_ive_been_lovin_you_led - ownerlhyes - whatdoyouwant_from_me_pink - yes - oops - jazz1n - jazz2n - sleeps - allblues - bettrdys - bettrdys - bluebosa - masqured - rhytmc - sinaran - take5 - tutu - fontieri can see clearly - killing_softly - ruby ruby - sleeps - sugar sugartake 5 orig - trio3trio4trio5 - trio6 - christmas_carols 1 (very abstract beat, like 4-4 then 5-3 or just changing whenever, like something Brubeck would do) - santa is coming to town -  -  -  -  -

If you want to save any of these after playing them, go to the folder WINDOWS (use "Windows Explorer" or "My Computer") then TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES and pick out the MID files (sort on file type by clicking the "TYPE" tab at the top of the file list) then select and copy them to a directory where you want them to be.  To play them, just use " Windows Explorer" or " My Computer" to find them and double left click them or right click and OPEN them.
