Objective  

To continue enjoying working with and teaching Mathematics to my students.  My current non-teaching main interests are music (jazz), politics, history, mathematics, science, Mustang restoration and the stock market.


Functional summary  

After receiving my B. Ed. Degree, I taught Junior High School Mathematics for 2 years while working on my M. A. Degree. After receiving my M. A. Degree in Mathematics, I worked for RCA Computer Systems Division as the RCA Detroit District Time-sharing Operating Systems Specialist and took more graduate courses. I have also worked as a Commercial Diver for several years making over 15,000 dives, a Self-employed Computer Consultant and then for 7 years as a College Computer and Mathematics Instructor at two private (SACS) colleges. I am currently working as an Associate Lecturer at Nova Southeastern University in Florida, the Bahamas and Jamaica (9 years), an Adjunct Instructor of Mathematics at PBCC (11 years), IRCC (9 years), and Northwood University (6 years). In addition, I have worked in various capacities at the PBCC CPI Mathematics Lab for 6½ years. I have also taught mathematics and adult ed computer courses at the University of Toledo, originally authored the PBCC PBG Math Department and Math Anxiety web sites and my own Internet web site, troubleshoot computers/calculators and install calculator and computer software/hardware.  I rescue and restore (and test drive) old Fox body Mustang convertibles and/or 5.0 L models as a hobby.
