Final Examination Rules for Statistics

The Final Examination for (MATH 3020, MTH 333 or STA 2023) must be given on the last day of class or other time scheduled by the college - see your syllabus. 

Students are normally given 2 hours to take the Final. 

Students must work on their own. 

No books, notes, or help of any kind is allowed unless otherwise stated. 

Only calculators and the formula and table insert that comes with the book* are allowed when taking the final (or, a replacement sheet(s) given by the instructor since some texts do not have formula sheets).

Final Exams will be graded according to the following:

1.  Each problem is worth the number of points stated by it or 10 points if not stated (A percentage correct will be calculated).

        2.  All work must be shown on the test paper if work is required (ask).  No credit will be given for answers without work if work is required (ask).
